Noche Bohemia Returns: A Night of Art, Music, and Poetry that Celebrates Latino Culture in Salinas

 

Salinas, CA — The highly anticipated Noche Bohemia (Bohemian Night), a poetic and artistic event of historical and cultural significance, will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 10:OO PM at Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main St., Salinas, CA 93906. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

 

This free, family-friendly celebration invites the public to experience the richness of Latino art in all its forms. Local and visiting painters, photographers, sculptors, writers, poets, and musicians will display their original works and performances, creating an unforgettable evening of cultural pride and creative expression.

Founded by Adela Castillo and José Alejandro Morán, Noche Bohemia was born from a vision to offer the community a unique space where poetry, music, and visual art converge to inspire hearts, uplift minds, and awaken the soul. Since its first edition on February 14, 2008, it has become a vital cultural tradition in Salinas, drawing artists from across counties and states.

 

“Noche Bohemia is more than an event — it’s a cultural movement that celebrates the beauty and depth of Latino heritage while embracing the multicultural fabric of our region,” said co-founder Adela Castillo.

Regresa Noche Bohemia: Una Noche de Arte, Música y Poesía que Celebra la Cultura Latina en Salinas

 

Salinas, CA — La esperada Noche Bohemia, un evento poético y artístico de relevancia histórica y cultural, se llevará a cabo el sábado 16 de agosto de 2025, de 7:00 PM a 10:00 PM en Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main St., Salinas, CA 93906. Las puertas abrirán a las 6:00 PM.

 

Este evento familiar y gratuito invita al público a disfrutar de la riqueza del arte latino en todas sus expresiones. Pintores, fotógrafos, escultores, escritores, poetas y músicos locales y de otras regiones compartirán su talento y pasión en una noche inolvidable de orgullo cultural y creatividad.

Fundada por Adela Castillo y José Alejandro Morán, Noche Bohemia nació con la visión de ofrecer a la comunidad un espacio donde la poesía, la música y el arte visual convergieran para inspirar el corazón, elevar la mente y despertar el alma. Desde su primera edición el 14 de febrero de 2008, se ha convertido en una tradición cultural indispensable en Salinas.

 

“Noche Bohemia es más que un evento; es un movimiento cultural que celebra la belleza y profundidad de la herencia latina, mientras abraza la diversidad multicultural de nuestra región,” expresó la cofundadora Adela Castillo.
